Henry N. Stamm
Senior Consultant
Henry (Hank) Stamm is a Senior Consultant at Global Atlantic Partners and works primarily in the Business Process consulting practice area. He is responsible for all aspects of financial planning, analysis, and reporting for the International Business School at a major New England university.
Prior to joining GAP, Mr. Stamm spent 26 years in senior finance management positions in the financial services industry. He most recently worked on the Merger Transition Team for the Bank of America/FleetBoston merger responsible for aligning Fleet internal financial management reporting methodologies with that of Bank of America, ensuring a smooth transition to the new entity. Prior to that position, Mr. Stamm was the Director of Business Valuation at FleetBoston providing leadership within Finance for worldwide internal financial reporting methodologies, including funds transfer pricing and economic capital allocations. He spent 20 years with BankBoston in a variety of senior finance management positions covering such topics as developing and implementing internal financial reporting methodologies, a general ledger conversion, FASB related projects and timely and accurate reporting of the bank’s international financial results in accordance with GAAP.
Prior to his banking career, Mr. Stamm spent 5 years with Price Waterhouse, where he was a Senior Auditor for clients in manufacturing, banking and other financial services companies.
Mr. Stamm holds a master's degree in accounting from Northeastern University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Boston College. He was a CPA from 1976 to 1996. Mr. Stamm is an adjunct professor teaching Financial Reporting and Analysis 1,2,3,4 at the School of Professional and Continuing Studies at Northeastern University. He is also fluent in Portuguese.
