Yogesh Singh
Associate Consultant

Yogesh Singh is an Associate Consultant at Global Atlantic Partners (GAP) and works in the BSA/AML, Risk Consulting, Financial and IT Audit practices. He is experienced in serving clients, especially regarding internal audit and regulatory compliance. Throughout his career, Mr. Singh has worked with a number of large and medium sized companies to reorganize and perform their internal audit, compliance, and risk management functions. A significant part of his professional career has been focused on supporting businesses in the development of risk assessment models within SOX and COBIT frameworks.

Yogesh's experience has enabled him to assist client's management in evaluating compliance of policies and procedures with regards to Fraud, Identity Theft and Anti Money Laundering prevention requirements per U.S. regulations. As an Associate Consultant with Global Atlantic Partners, Yogesh has been involved with the very specialized practice of Anti-Money Laundering / Bank Secrecy Act audit and consulting services. Mr. Singh has been extensively trained within GAP’s high work standards, which have been applied to the audits conducted by him for various internal audit clients.

Prior to joining Global Atlantic Partners, Mr. Singh spent 9 years in the Accounting & Finance area, working for a mid-size public accounting firm as a Senior Audit Officer, for the third largest paint manufacturing company in Asia as a Senior Internal Auditor, and as an Assistant Manager for the Corporate Banking Group of the second largest bank in India. He has performed extensive due diligence surrounding the financial controls of those companies and participated in projects related to internal process controls, database maintenance and development of internal audit programs. Mr. Singh is also experienced in statutory audits including Sales, Service, & Excise Taxes.

Mr. Singh earned his bachelor's degree in Accounting & Finance from Mumbai University, India, obtained his CPA certification (Level III) in India and earned his master's degree in Finance & Risk Management from Brandeis University, MA. He is currently registered with ISACA (Information Systems Audit and Control Association), undertaking examinations to become a Certified Information Systems Auditor - CISA.
